Update on the sick-ness

Right. So the tests came back a few days ago--I have mono and strep. And probably allergies on top of everything else.

Been taking antibiotics for the strep (you can't take penicillin when you have mono, it gives you a rash) and for the most part it seems to be working. For the rest I take ibuprofen, Tylenol, mucinex and sometimes chloraseptic.

I have been doing much lying around, reading, staring at the wall, facebook stalking, watching the food network... and sleeping. I'm tired all the time.

I'm going back to school on Tuesday. I simply have to. Missing a week of school is bad, bad, bad. Not to mention boring.

I have that stupid song "discovery channel" stuck in my head. Augh.

Gonna go find food now. Something soft. Like... pudding.

I mean, I'm walking around and able to eat things other than soup... but I still need ibuprofen every six hours to keep the swelling in my throat and ears down, and now I'm getting way congested, too, which my mom says could be allergies because strep and mono don't usually affect the nasal cavities. Urgh.

I feel loads better today than I did yesterday, though. So tomorrow should be even better. Yayy antibiotics!
